How do you update your home within your budget? Change is the answer

How do you update your home within your budget? Change is the answer

There is going to come a time when you’ll look around your house decide that you don’t love the changes you once made or how things were when you moved in. All you know is that it’s time for a change. Here are some ways you can refresh your home on a budget.

Switch your throw pillows

Throw pillows are the easiest thing to change. Use bright, vibrant colors to bring life to dull or drab areas. You can quickly and easily change the entire aesthetic of a room just by changing the pillows.

Get a new rug

Just as pillows can brighten up a room, a new rug can too. Add rugs to rooms or open areas brings a bit of warmth and helps to define spaces in an open floor plan. A new area rug can give your home a new feel along with a new visual look.

Change your curtains

Changing your window treatments is a great place to start an inexpensive update. Switch your dark, heavy fall and winter curtains to light, flowing spring and summer curtains. It’s an easy, inexpensive, fast way to create a new look.  Smart, too.

Try a statement wall

A statement wall is one wall that you choose to stand out from the rest. You may fill it with adhesive patterns, or paint it a different color from the rest. Removable wallpaper is also an option to consider: it’s not a permanent commitment. The possibilities are endless. Have fun.

Replace kitchen hardware

New door handles for your cabinets, a new faucet, and new appliances really can change the look of your kitchen. There are many affordable (and easy to do) options for you to choose. So explore, and change away!
